Thanksgiving Feast!

We have been learning all about the Pilgrims, the Native Americans, and the reason we celebrate Thanksgiving. Our learning culminated in a Friendship Feast with our friends in Ms. Alves' class. Thank you to all of the many volunteers who brought in food and helped with everything.  We couldn't have done it without you!

Bye Bye Butterflies!

Last week, we said goodbye to lots of our butterflies. Some flew right off, but others were patient enough to hang out with our class before flying south! Look at all the smiles!

 

Kindergarten Reading Buddies

On Thursday, we met our kindergarten reading buddies from Mrs. Brassard's class!  We'll read and do activities with them throughout the year.  Everyone is so excited and looking forward to a bunch of fun and learning!

 

Sunday Morning Butterfly Fun!

Good Morning Families! Too bad there isn't school on Sunday because there was lots of excitement here this morning.  I released 3 of our butterflies!  I brought them out to the back gardens where the flowers are, and they were very happy to sit on the pretty flowers for a while. Then they headed off on their new adventures!
